Medical Interests: Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation, Academic Medicine. Passionate about mentoring Native American and Indigenous students and excited about translational research and regenerative therapies.
Hobbies: Spending time in the sunshine, hiking, motocross, Harry Potter & Star Wars marathons, trying new food, and finding spicy salsa.
Favorite Activity in the Twin Cities: Walks along the Mississippi River. I also love catching a show at the Guthrie Theater and getting bagels from the Mill City Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings.
Why Did You Choose the U of M? I had an outstanding experience in the EPAC program. The people are incredible, and mentors have been so supportive in pushing me to become the best pediatrician I can be. The opportunity to train at multiple sites, serve a diverse community, and conduct research at an institution with such a legacy in transplantation is a dream.
What’s Something That You’re #UMNPedProud Of? I'm proud I get to continue impactful research for children with rare inherited bone marrow failure syndromes, including Fanconi anemia!
