Alyssa is a recently graduated University of Minnesota student with a B.S. in Biology. She has been working in the Binstadt lab since May of 2021 and is researching resident cardiac macrophages' role in extracellular matrix regulation in the mitral valve. She also works as a Nursing Assistant at the Children's Hospital and has been studying for the MCAT.
