Chelsea R. Moore (She/Her), PhD, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a first-year postdoctoral fellow with the LEAH program. Chelsea earned her PhD in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 2025. Her doctoral training was funded, in part, by the National Institutes of Nursing Research, including an Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (F31). Previously, Chelsea earned her BSN and MSN degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. Clinically, Chelsea has practiced as a registered nurse in pediatric intensive care and pediatric inpatient acute rehabilitation. She is also trained and certified as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner. Chelsea’s research interests broadly center around social drivers of health, with a focus on adolescent mental/behavioral health, and prevention. Chelsea’s research during her doctoral program investigated the complex associations among socioeconomic status, cumulative adverse and positive childhood experiences (i.e. ACEs and PCEs), and adolescent mental/behavioral health outcomes, predominantly using quantitative methods with secondary data and applying a developmental lens. Chelsea is also interested in developing her expertise in intervention science.
