My medical interests and career direction are: I am open to anything, but I am most interested in hem/onc and NICU! I also hope to have medical education and global health as part of my future career.
My hobbies are: Cooking, reading, watching cheesy rom-coms, and exploring Minneapolis for yummy food, drinks, and coffee! I have a very excessive excel spreadsheet for food trucks, coffee shops, and restaurants around the twin cities and I am always up to check out new places with new friends!
My favorite activity in the Twin Cities is: The farmers markets and the MN State Fair (less for the actual fair, I just love food)!
Why did you choose the UofM Peds Residency Program? Being from MN I wanted to stay close to home, and the U of M made it so easy to see myself staying here for residency. Everyone in the program is warm and welcoming and people are always willing to help and advocate for you when you need it!
What's something that you're #umnpedsproud of? I am very proud of our class of interns! Our last year of medical school was anything but ordinary and I am proud that we are all diving in head first as new residents! I am also proud to be colleagues with the second and third-year residents as they are all amazing and have so many qualities I hope to have as a senior resident!
