Jacob originally joined the lab as a freshman undergrad in August 2020, while pursuing a double major in Biochemistry and Genetics, Cell Biology and Development, along with a minor in Chemistry. Now an independent researcher, he primarily focuses on engineering gamma delta T-cells for use in cancer immunotherapy. In the future, Jacob plans to pursue a PhD in biochemistry, through which he hopes to develop improved treatment options for age-associated diseases.
