My medical interests and career direction are: I am leaning towards general pediatrics and working in an outpatient setting...but also keeping my options open to other things!
My hobbies are: Traveling, skiing, biking, gardening, water coloring, playing volleyball and soccer, and anything that involves pets.
My favorite activity in the Twin Cities is: Going to a brewery or distillery with a patio - Pryes, Utepils, Tattersall are some of my faves!
Why did you choose the UofM Peds Residency Program? I fell in love with the Twin Cities during medical school and wasn't ready to leave! UofM Peds has an amazing global health curriculum with ample partnerships, both locally and internationally, that prioritize sustainable development and reciprocity with trainees. I was also drawn to the multiple hospital sites that serve such a diverse patient population. The residents and staff I interacted with during my virtual interview day were nice, approachable, and hilarious, and I could see myself working with them and being
happy. Plus they were the only program I interviewed with that had an ENTIRE portion of their website dedicated to resident pets!
