I am a 4th year Social Work PhD student at University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I am also a part-time psychotherapist working predominantly with BIPOC clients, and a parent to 4 children (8-17). My research interests are interdisciplinary and include BIPOC student mental health, culturally relevant interventions, colonialism in academic institutions, colonialism in social work as a field (clinical, educational, and historical) and the Impacts of microaggression on BIPOC students, among others.
