Graduate Research Assistant

I am a first-year Master of Social Work student at the University of Minnesota in the Clinical Mental Health specialization with six prior years of experience in mental health and social services. Outside of this role, I work as a psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner specializing in integrated dual diagnosis treatment for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in Minnesota’s first harm reduction-oriented forensic IRTS facility. My research experience includes working on a national study for novel treatments of post-traumatic stress disorder targeting moral injury through the VAHCS and developing an independent research study about how victim/survivors of sexual violence are perceived based on race and gender that I implemented through the Undergraduate Reseach Opportunities Program at UMN.
