Positions & Titles:

  • Resident

Hometown: Roseville, Minnesota & Malatya, Turkiye
Medical School: Gaziantep Universitesi
My medical interests and career direction are: I feel a strong inclination toward pediatric primary care, but I will keep an open mind during residency.
My hobbies are: Spending time with family and friends, traveling, photography, biking, table tennis, playing board games and trivia.
My favorite activity in the Twin Cities is: Picnicking or walking around the lakes in MN with family and friends - especially Lake Como and Lake Harriet, biking around the UofM campus with my husband.
Why did you choose the UofM Peds Residency Program? First and foremost, MN is my hometown and I want to serve the community I grew up in. Regarding the program itself, the UofM pediatrics program is the pearl of the Midwest. It offers a culture that upholds excellence in both clinical training and opportunities for research. The faculty, staff, and residents are friendly, supportive, and provides the best resources and autonomy needed for residency. In addition, the UofM is a multi-site training ground that gives the opportunity to work with a unique set of patient populations.
